I attended a dear friend's wedding last weekend and it was one of the most energetic wedding receptions I have ever been to! The bride and groom both love to dance so the party lasted until midnight and the dance floor was hopping all night long! (One guest was dancing so hard that he fell on me, but I'm ok- thanks) I loved getting glam for this wedding and even forced my handsome date to color-coordinate his suit and tie to my dress (Prom 2005 flashback!). I felt so confident that night and received multiple compliments on my outfit, my hair, and my jewelry! It's always nice when people notice that you put effort into your outfit and take the time to say something. I wish I would have been able to take more photos that night, but since it was dark outside, I did a separate photoshoot featuring this stunning dress that I wore that night. I wore my hair pinned up and it felt so glamorous- I'll definitely be doing that more often!

This dress by Askari is my new favorite, especially perfect for fall or winter weddings or cocktail occasions. The deep "v" in the back is that special detail that takes this otherwise conservative dress into the special occasion territory. I added as much sparkle as I possible could with my accessories and wish I could wear that much bling everyday.
