I'm still feeling the burn from our weekend fitness event with Body Machine Fitness! I hosted a workout event for Dallas Blogger Brunch on Saturday and we went through a workout class at BMF that left us all feeling like jello! As ladies arrived at BMF in Plano, we mingled and anxiously speculated about how intense the workout would be. Once everyone arrived, we got a tour of the brand new facility, including the most beautiful locker room I have every seen- it looked more like a spa!
We met our trainer, Ethan, who is the "Master Trainer" at BMF. The intense setup that Ethan is standing under is called the "Queenax" and it is the third largest in the country! It's a huge system that allows different configurations for different exercises and was really neat to use during our workout. The BMF workout class is HIIT training with alternating portions of floor/weight exercises and treadmill intervals; the lights and music are in sync to the workout so your brain feels more like it's at a dance party than a gym - even complete with a live DJ!
BMF even gave us a cold towel to use after the workout to help our bodies cool down, which was much needed! We all swarmed the in-house smoothie bar to grab our pre-ordered smoothies and acai bowls- the perfect ending to an intense workout! I love that they had our orders ready to go and even personalized our cups as a special touch!
I ordered one of their acai bowls and it was delicious- their smoothie bar manager moved to Plano all the way from Florida to run this smoothie bar, so that just shows you how committed BMF is to providing a high quality gym environment, which I love!
All of the ladies had so much fun getting our butts kicked by the workout, then being able to cool off and relax and get to know some new friends during the event. You can see the smoothie bar on the right in the photo below- the windows even open accordion style to connect to the BMF patio!
We had a great time previewing the hardcore workout that will be offered at BMF when they open in July! They are offering a 2 week free trial, so I definitely recommend checking it out for yourself!
