I still can't believe I'm engaged...and getting married in less than a month! You can read our proposal story and wedding update, but we are basically having a 2 month engagement (crazy!)! With COVID, the holidays right around the corner, and a short planning timeline, I'm not having some of the traditional wedding events, or even a bridal party! BUT I did want to celebrate with the ladies before things got too crazy, so my would-be bridal party planned a shower for me, and it was so much fun!

I wasn't allowed to help setup or see what was going on, so everything was a surprise to me! Chandler, Lisa, Kaitlyn, and Jenny planned a beautiful afternoon shower, and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! I am usually the one planning the parties for other people, so this was extra special, and I felt so loved and celebrated! 

They even hit me with some confetti canons, which of course, was a highlight and so much fun! LOL to the underwear decorations on the wall - all of their details were so fun! Guests were offered champagne/mimosas, from our champagne bucket, complete with frozen flower ice cubes- how precious is that?!

I wish I had taken more photos, but of course, I was so excited to talk with everyone! I've seen most of these ladies fairly regularly, but I did have a few special visitors and it was so much fun for friends from different areas of my life to get to meet and talk with each other!

I am so thankful for all of these women! After we caught up and ate, we opened gifts and heard some marriage advice from some of the married ladies. Then the girls prayed for me and my marriage and I'm so thankful for that time together!
