I'm a city girl but I LOVE a good roadtrip, and especially before my fall schedule gets packed with holiday activities, I like to leave town for a little getaway! Growing up, my family was all about camping and taking roadtrips, and I remember my dad ALWAYS checking the oil before we left the house! Even now, when I drive home to Oklahoma or chat with my parents before going on a trip, my dad always asks "How's your car? Have you changed your oil?" Every. Time. haha!

Let's not pretend that I know how to change my own oil. I don't! BUT I do know how to check it and it's the one thing I do before I leave town on a roadtrip! Thanks, Daddy! haha!
