Some of my favorite pieces from summer were off-the-shoulder and cold shoulder dresses; I still want to wear them now that the temperature has finally dropped in Dallas, so I'm pairing them with a leather jacket to make the transition! This black cut-out shoulder dress by Askari has been one of my favorites lately (you know I love black dresses) since it is so easy to throw them on with anything for any occasion.

By adding this burgundy leather jacket and my favorite burgundy lace-up shoes, I'm adding visual interest to the outfit and including a pop of leopard print to complete the look. Adding animal print is a great way to add pattern to an outfit while still using neutral colors that don't interfere with the other pieces.

I'm including links below to some of my favorite leather and faux leather jackets available right now that are great cold weather transition pieces, especially for Dallas!
