I am so excited for backyard BBQ season! Bring on summertime! Today I'm sharing how to spice up your Fourth of July BBQ with a burger bar featuring WHOLLY® Guacamole Bowl Classic Mild (7.5 oz) and HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa Medium. I have two Tom Thumb grocery stores within 5 minutes of my house, so it's my go-to for entertaining supplies! The Tom Thumb app makes it easy to keep track of my list and scope out any coupons I can use that week!
We all love a traditional backyard burger grill-out, and I'm excited to add a few new toppings to my burger line-up! AND I'm especially excited to have outdoor dinner parties now that we have our new fence and yard! So fun! We don't have patio furniture yet, but I always want to inspire people to host guests even before they're "ready," so for this dinner party, we used a folding table and mismatched chairs...and I kind of love how it turned out!
Normally Adam does the grilling, and he ALSO makes the guac...and tbh he usually makes the drinks too. What exactly do I do?!?! Ha! BUT since he's doing a lot, when we have guests I try to outsource one thing, and I finally found a guac brand that I like! The WHOLLY® Guacamole Bowl Classic Mild (7.5 oz) has the perfect amount of lime and garlic flavor and tastes so close to his homemade guac, so I'm IN! It's made from 100% Hass avocados with no preservatives added! Find it in the produce refrigerated section at Tom Thumb. I found the HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa Medium in the salsa aisle and knew it would be good because HERDEZ is the #1 salsa brand in Mexico, so I just went with a "guac" theme for this grill out and fun burger toppings!
I'm normally a basic burger kind of gal - ketchup and cheese only! Ha! BUT I know most other people love to pile their toppings high. Don't be afraid to add any and all toppings to your burger bar, especially the HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa or WHOLLY® Guacamole! They make great burger toppings and I love getting people to mix up their normal routine!
We served everything family-style on the table and it was hard to squeeze everything in, but for more than 4 guests, a buffet line would be perfect!
PS. If you're a gluten free gal, make your burger "stack style" in a bowl and use a base of sweet potato hash, then your patty then your guac and salsa toppings! We make burger stacks on the reg and love them!
Happy BBQing this summer!
