It is springtime in Texas! I am so excited that warmer weather is here and can't believe I wore a pair of shorts this week! The weather in Dallas has me dreaming of beach vacations, and even though I can't head to Cabo just yet, I can definitely start dressing for the heat (and hopefully get a tan, too). I've been doing a some wardrobe updating lately, but there's one piece in my closet that I recently purchased for my upcoming trip to Paris and the cooler weather in France and I have found myself reaching for it even in warmer temps here.
This classic white oxford chambray from J.Crew Factory is the perfect piece to transition from cooler temps to springtime in Dallas. I love all types of chambray shirts, and was happy to add a white one to my collection; my favorite thing about this shirt is that it's not see through. White shirts are especially hard to find if you don't want to show everything underneath, so I like that this chambray has some weight to it, but still reads light and breezy. (Another fave is this white tee that's not see through either!) I'm planning to wear this top over dresses, tied in the front, tucked into jeans, under sweaters, and everything in between. My biggest selling point for clothes right now is "versatility." SO if you're looking for bang for your buck and a great transitional piece, this is it (bonus: it's on sale right now)!!
