I'm so excited to share Taco Lingo with you! We have brunched at some amazing places in Dallas, and I'm pleased to add Taco Lingo to the list! It's my new favorite elevated casual spot! Taco Lingo is next to The Henry and North Italia in Uptown, and has a relaxed vibe and the perfect patio! They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm!
Our festive December florals were created by Victoria from Bright Eyed Blooms, and they were perfect for a Christmas brunch!
Get ready for a feast. We started with...House-made Cinnamon Rolls with Horchata glaze. Dead. They are so good. I almost went back the next day to get another order. Oh, and I have to mention that they have $3 mimosas, froses, and bloody marys during brunch! Those cinnamon rolls though. I can't even believe how good they are. Just to give you an idea...most bloggers will take like one nibble of sweets or appetizers at brunch, but we all had HALF of a cinnamon roll. Literally everyone at the table. So that's all I'll say about that.
Then they also brought out chips and queso, because you really can't have any kind of Mexican food without chips, so don't even act like I shouldn't have eaten them. Queso was money, and we finished the entire bowl. Again, that speaks for itself.
By the time we ordered our entrees, we were all semi-full! ha! Of course, I'm such a team player, and volunteered to order the Chocolate Banana Pancakes. You know, I'm such a giver, and always want to make sure that everyone at the table is able try the most delicious menu items. Ha! But actually, I normally would order the pancakes and eat most of them, but since we already had the cinnamon rolls, I knew that I only wanted one breakfast taco for my meal. I passed around my pancakes and everyone took a bite- so good!
This is my FAVORITE part about Taco Lingo. They have all traditional brunch entrees like Chilaquiles (above) but you can also get single tacos! I ordered ONE breakfast taco. It was served on the cutest little wooden platter and in a taco stand- adorable. Here's the deal. Sometimes I want a brunch experience with a cute drink and want to hang with friends, but I don't want to eat a huge meal. SO this was the perfect balance. I'll definitely be back to order a taco or two and a frose and call it a day! Such a win!
They ALSO have some TVs, so it seems like it could also be a good place to watch a game, if you're into that sort of thing ;)
After we ate all the things, THEN they brought out House-made Churro Doughnuts. Like, do I even need to explain this?!? As you can imagine, I left in quite the food coma. Normally after brunch, I post my Instagram stories then go straight home and take a nap, but after Taco Lingo, I went straight to another event! It was such a struggle, but it was worth it! Definitely give Taco Lingo a try!
