It's almost February and I've been writing my 2020 goals down EVERY DAY since finalizing them. That might seem excessive, but the most important thing about setting goals is keeping them in front of you daily. Every morning when I read and journal, I write down an abbreviated version of my 10 goals for the year. I have 10. Some of them are personal, some are business, and some are just for fun, but I'm excited about them!
When I sat down to write this post, I wanted to look back at some of my past goals and I couldn't help but laugh at some of my previous blog posts over the years! I am, however, so pleased to see how many goals that I have set and accomplished over the last few years! I'm a believer, more than ever, in the power of setting clear and measurable goals, writing them down, and revisiting them often throughout the year to check in on progress.
Apparently I didn't write a 2019 goals post, which isn't surprising to find out, because I had a hard time remembering what I accomplished last year, which means I didn't have clear goals, so that's probably why I avoided writing a blog post about them! Crazy how that works, isn't it?!
Here's a look back at my 2018 Goals and this (still super helpful) post from 2018 about how to increase productivity! I was able to finish this post and work on my newsletter only after reading through it! Ha!
I'm pretty impressed with this post about workout motivation post from 2018! Like, was I just really into writing in 2018? Who knows, but rereading my own posts has been helpful!
I love looking at my 2017 Goals because that's when I moved to Paris! And I think 2016 is when I got serious about setting goals...here's my goals recap!
This year, I'm not sharing ALL of my goals, because some things need to stay private, but the one I'm most excited to share with you is my #20in2020 dinner party goal! Our next one is February 1st and I can't wait!
Other goals for 2020 include:
- read 12 books! Two down so far! (how to get away, one true loves)
- living on a monthly budget (whole new thing for me Ha!)
- working normal business hours (aka not nights and weekends- racing to finish this post and newsletter by 6pm!)
- to continue my fitness routine- trying new workouts and cooking at home at least once per week!
Cheers to a successful 2020 with personal and business achievements, balance, and rest!
